The Exhale Space
for Women

You’ve been holding everything together…but who is holding you?

My mission is to help you move from:

  • confusion to clarity

  • exhaustion to replenishment

  • self-doubt to grounded confidence

  • isolation to meaningful connection

  • feeling muted to finding your voice again

But most of all…

to help you navigate identity shifts and reclaim your vibrancy!

Women are incredibly strong and adaptable

Women are incredibly strong and adaptable. We literally embody change every month, experiencing shifts in our hormones, physical body and mind. We literally bring life to this world.

At the same time, we are often fed certain scripts, of what society thinks we should be, how we should behave, even the things we should like. We should be obedient, agreeable, soft, kind, caregivers, learn to prioritise others, keep the peace.

Often in midlife things start to shift. It’s a phase when we tend to do a big assessment of our journey, where we ended up, how we are showing up to the world and where we actually wanted to be. We question our identity.

Women in this phase of life are often juggling raising kids, or becoming empty-nesters, a relationship with a partner, managing a house, a career, a home, ageing parents.

Then mother nature throws at us another massive physiological change, with the turbulent waters of perimenopause and menopause.

What used to feel manageable… no longer does. The mental load feels heavier. Our patience is shorter. Your sense of self… harder to find.

The colours that once were part of your unique, vibrant personality have become muted, faded. Your identity feels a bit diluted after years of learning to metamorphise yourself to be all the things everybody expected you to be.

It can feel like you are holding too much — for too long — with very little space to put it down.

I created The Exhale Space from years of sitting with women in the therapy room —listening to what isn’t always said out loud.

And from recognising a pattern that felt impossible to ignore:

Capable, thoughtful, high-functioning women…suddenly feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or unlike themselves.

Often in midlife.

Often dismissed.

Often told to “push through”.

Alongside my clinical work,
my own lived experience deepened this understanding.

I began to see more clearly how hormonal changes, life transitions, accumulated stress, and invisible expectations intersect.

And how, without the right kind of support, women can slowly begin to turn against themselves:

  •  questioning their resilience

  •  doubting their capacity

  •  feeling as though they are somehow failing

The Exhale Space was created as a response to this.

Not as another place that asks more of you —but as a space where you can begin to put things down.

A space that is psychologically informed, but deeply human.

Where your experience is not minimised, rushed, or reduced to a checklist. Where you are not expected to perform, and where compassion is enhanced by community support.

My work brings together over two decades of clinical experience in psychology and neuropsychology, with approaches grounded in compassion, acceptance, and evidence-based practice.

My mission is to help you move from:

  •  confusion to clarity

  •  exhaustion to replenishment

  •  self-doubt to grounded confidence

  •  isolation to meaningful connection

  •  feeling muted to finding your voice again

But most of all…

to help you navigate identity shifts and reclaim your vibrancy!
